Must be a NECK pickup and must work, lead left doesn't really matter as long as their is enough for me to put extensions on.

I am looking to spend $40-$55 MAX (USD)

I have a couple duncan designed single coil neck pickups available. They both work nicely. Was asking $40 shipped, maybe add a few bucks for shipping to Canada...

DiMarzio True Velvet neck pickup with white and aged white covers, and original screws/springs/box, barely used: $40 plus actual shipping to Canada from CA, U.S.A. This is a bright vintage-style Strat pickup, but with modern improvements in string-to-string volume balance. Very cutting and sharp pickup in any position, and smooths up nicely with tone adjustments. Very clear in the Strat neck spot. It's a very balanced, dynamic, and responsive pickup. Will trade straight across if you have a Red Velvet.

I have a 1981 DiMarzio VS-1 reads roughly 6k. No reason you can't use it in the neck position. $35 shipped

It will need some additional lead wire added on Has about 3.5 and 4.5" of lead
