For the $$$ these are hard to beat. Yes, I have 2 that I bought to do some modifications too. Just something to play around with. After reading reviews and playing them I'm not sure if I want to customize. They have become very good backups.

Ive got some handwound sss strat pickups by Kevin Smith. Great pickups for maybe a cheaper guitar you may find. Just a thought.

The only issue is trying to get what Daddy wants when we just shelled out a bunch of money for a new tire over Thanksgiving, and then Christmas for the wife and kids. Let me see what I can do. I really appreciate the help, fellas.
