WTB: Strat neck

Re: WTB: Strat neck

I have a '94 (I think it's a 94) American Standard Strat neck that I'm looking to part with. It plays great, but I prefer a more vintage feel, or one of the new American series necks. It is currently on one of my guitars and has been set up recently, so it's definitely in good shape. The only issues it has is that the previous owner cleaned the laquer off the neck a little too much around a couple of the frets so that there is a VERY TINY amount of bare wood just north of some of the frets...the laquer on these necks tends to break off in sections as you clean it off the fret wire anyway. I want to stress that this is a very minor issue and does not effect play in any way. Let me know what you think.

Got pics? What kind of fretwear? Rosewood or maple? How much?

Re: WTB: Strat neck

Fretboard is maple, fretware is what I'd call minimal. I'll see if I can't borrow a camera to get some pics. I'm hoping to get about $250 (+shipping) out of it as it's in very good condition (which is cheaper than a Warmoth or equivalent once you add tuners, nut work, etc.) and will have good resale value (as it's a Fender). Will ship to the US only (sorry had to add that).

I have a neck that is a mighty mite (licensed copy) with ebony, lightly finished in poly. Frets are vintage-sized. The ebony is very slick so despite the small frets the bends are a breeze.
