Title pretty much says it all!

I have an awesome Warmoth Strat neck...but i'm a Tele guy at heart!

Re: WTB Tele Body with a Strat neck pocket

Teles will work with Strat necks, but Strats won't work wiht Tele necks ;, that is, there will be a space in the pocket and IDK if it effects scale intonation, but Strat necks definitely work with Tele bodies and look great and I have one American Standard Tele with a nice Mighty Mite *Strat neck and its great!
I do have a Tele body thats crazy ...30 year old air dried light swamp ash nitro reliced fully loaded with bare knuckle neck and Jerry Donahue bridge with Glendale bridge I just have lost enthusiasm for..more interested in fixing up my American Standard...don't know why..this Tele body is way better sounding.

i thought strats had a rounded heel and the tele pocket was more square?

Re: WTB Tele Body with a Strat neck pocket

A strat neck will work in a tele body. A strat neck is basically tele neck with corners rounded. There will be small gaps in the corners of the neck pocket so you may want to get a custom pickguard to cover it.

Also if where are you getting the tele body? If you are getting that from warmoth just have them cut it for a start neck.
