I've got a MIM Tele Special body neck position is routed for a humbucker
I'll be listing it for sale soon, it's a blonde finish, the top has a transparent finish so you can see the woodgrain.
I'll have some pics up by the weekend.
email me if you're interested mgoldri1@comcast.net
I have a brand new WD ash body in 2-color sunburst. Never even had a neck or pickguard or anything installed. I was planning a tele project myself, but then I got a local deal on a MIM Tele in the same finish. So, I guess I'll still build my tele but I'd rather sell this and buy a comparable blonde body so I have a little variety. Only problem is I paid something like $300 + shipping for it and I'd want to get most of that back. I don't think that really qualifies as a "decent" price!
Here's a pic I took when I was trying to figure out a pickguard color scheme:
BTW, I also have an unfinished tele body that I'd let go for around $100 + shipping...not sure of the manufacturer but I know it came from Victor Litz here in Maryland. There's a little nick on the back but it's tiny and could easily be filled before finishing.
Also have a cheap-O beat-to-**** plywood tele body (yes, it has a tele bridge EMG in the neck, and the bridge accepts a strat-type P/U! :wrf: ) that I'd sell complete with bridge (bridge p/u has been sold), neck p/u and a pickguard for around $75 + shipping or so:
wow......a few nice bodies.........i'm really not planning to spend over $100, if i do the wife will kill me haha....something solidbody(ash/alder) i dont care what make....$300USD is just a bit out of my price range but thats a KILLER body!!!
