I am looking for a set of pickups to go into an american tele project i am working on. i like the sound of the rio grande muy grande's but i would be willing to try something different. i have had suggesstions of a jb and a vintage neck. i am looking for a vintage sound that is thick but still has punch to it but not too high and crisp, (if that makes any sense) I like the sound of son volts "drown" if that might help. if you have something let me know. thanks:smokin:
