I did the mag swap just a little while ago. Pierre is getting Custom with an Alnico 8. It's going to smoke!

What does the A8 do for the Custom?

The best (brief) explaination I've heard is that an A8 has all the best qualities of an A5 and ceramic in one. It sings a little more, doesn't have that shrill ceramic quality and doesn't have that A5 "boomy" quality.
