Re: WTB/WTTF: A Nice PJ Bass Pickup set

Active? Passive? What're you offering?

Either. Cash (specified WTB) and I will discuss that with anyone who has something that fits the bill. I have tons of guitar and bass parts, have been recording for about 25 years, and have been playing keys for about 30. Do you actually have a P/J set or sets you might want to deal? If so feel free to Pm me, or post here.
Thanks!

I've got a Bartolini P/J set... an 8S, and a 91J1, I think. I'll need to check - they're in storage, and I may be able to get to them this weekend.

Cool please let me know if you can. Definitely considering Barts

If you're interested in getting a P/J set for cheap, I have a Jackson P bass pickup that came from a Concert EX bass, and a Carvin H50S J bass stacked humbucking pickup. It's voiced for vintage J bass tone.
I've got a pic of the P bass pickup.

Here's a link to info about the J bass pickup.

It's in excellent shape, not beat up.

Both pickups were in a Jackson Concert EX bass that I own, and work fine. I'm not looking for much money for these. I got a Dimarzio set for the Jackson bass, I'm really happy with the Dimarzios, and I am not using these. I'd be glad to see them go to someone who can use them.

Kosh, just out of curiousity, what Dimarzios are they? I keep thinking about getting a PJ bass, and I'm sure if I do, I'll want suggestions on replacements.
