WTB: Zebra Humbuckers; Duncan/GFS Strat pickups >>> FS/FT: Gibson and GFS Humbuckers
I'm looking for zebra seymour duncan buckers - specifically a neck that is medium to low output, like a '59, A2 Pro, Seth, or whatever. Alnico magnet please!
I also may be open to a bridge pickup if you are only offering the neck as a pair - so I'm open to offers. Something in the hot-PAFish mold 8-12k
For trade I have chrome Gibson "Patent No." pickups from a 1990 les paul. These are early 490/498 buckers, from back when gibson still used the Patent No. stamp on the baseplates, with no other markings. The Chrome covers show light wear, as 21 yr old pickups should - but are in excellent condition - no pitting or rust. Would look right at home on anything other than a brand new guitar.
I also have a zebra GFS Crunchy PAT, which is a great bucker for heavy rock or metal sounds.
I also have a GFS VEH but I'm likely to hang onto it because it rocks and its exactly what I want in the bridge position.
As for sale prices - I'll go 50 each on the gibsons, or 90 for the pair, and 22 for the GFS Crunchy PAT. PP gift and shipped.
PS: please feel free to reply to the thread
with trade offers as my inbox tends to get
filled up quickly. The PM system is
cumbersome from my blackberry …
