WTT Invader Bridge for Distortion Neck

Title says it all. I've got a black Invader bridge that will peel the paint off walls and I'd like to trade it into a Distortion neck.

If you take out the cap screws and replaced them with regular fillisters would it basically become a Distortion (sh-6b) with twelve adjustable pole pieces?

almost-kinda-sorta. the distortion has got a double thick ceramic magnet. not only that, but the neck model is underwound to 12k~ish.

what your suggesting would be closer to a jb+/distortion lite, allan holdsworth style.

Plus you'd never get filisters to work in an Invader as the holes are too big for 5/40 threads. You could do an all slug version of the Invader which I haven't heard anyone try yet

there was an MJ-wound one on .au ebay a couple days ago (i bought it); you should check international listings if you're not already. where TF is gunsmoke planet, anyway?

check as well under "duncan", as they're often marked just SEY on the back and people don't know what they are...
i liked the 1st one i got so much i had to get another, one of them's going in a JB/DDn hybrid set, you see.
i tend to buy them on sight; i'll let you know if i see another, dude.
