WTT - SFX-03 for Weber Mass 100

I've come to the realization that my ears are killing me and I need some attenuation before I go deaf. The SFX-03 is mint and has no blemishes that I know of and still has the box, power supply, receipt and instructions. I can make pix if you want. It sounds great. I'm letting it go because the Edana needs room to breathe to sound her best and that means loud volumes or an attenuator. The SFX-03 does sound good through it at low volumes, but it's not as good as when cranked. All the Edana really needs is a little goose on the front end to distort nicely, so the SFX-03 wouldn't be as handy as an attenuator to get her juices flowing nicely and allow those hot tubes to work their magic.

If noone wants to trade outright, I'll sell the SFX-03 to purchase the Weber Mass. $175 shipped to your doorstep. It has maybe 10 hours use on it in the couple of months that I've had it.

Try The Gear Page....you see the Weber MASS or even a Hot Plate up over there fairly often.

Although I'm not sure that's something I'd buy used....not quite sure what type of abuse it may have taken. :dunno:

Sucks having to sell the pedal......but I understand. My MASS works wonderfully with the Edana :bigok:

Jeremy, if you have to "dig" it out then you have entirely too much gear! LOL

I wonder how that pedal would work with a SS amp?

It would basically act as a tube pre. It should warm things up a tad and give the SS amp a more tubelike feel. You can run overdrive pedals through it just like a tube amp and it reacts the same way to the pedals as a normal amp would. It's truly a neat design.
