I have a 498t currently in a Les Paul special tribute and I would be willing to trade it for a black bobbin version of the same pickup. There is some slack in the 4 conductor cable so rewiring should not be a problem. Practically new condition. Or if anyone is interested in the black bobbin 490r in the neck position make me an offer... I'm looking for a 496r or dirty fingers. I also have a 490t with nickel cover if anyone is interested. The current Gibson pickup shop does not offer the 498t in zebra or the 490t in nickel anymore as far as I know you can't buy them after market anymore.
