Re: Wull this is smart:

Somebody made a thread about this a couple weeks ago. Guy is looking for investments from people. His pedals seem like a good idea.

Re: Wull this is smart:

That seems like it would be even better than the MXR foam "toe-knob" cover...

...as if such a thing were even possible!

Re: Wull this is smart:

The Maestro system is still so much more efficient than the MXR design. Who really wants to coordinate moving their foot up and down precisely beside the knob when you can just do it on top of the knob itself?

Re: Wull this is smart:

Imagine a rowdy punk show with stage divers and mosh pits... Some putz cuts a across your pedalboard, steps on your wheelknob delay, slipping on it like its a banana peel and sending your feedback knob into uncontrollable oscillation...

If you have a delay (or any pedal other than an od on top of your amp) at a punk show then you need to reconsider a few things...

Also, I've played many shows with rowdy crowds and pits, and they get bumped either way, so I wouldn't consider that a huge issue

Re: Wull this is smart:

There's also this thing here: http://kickdisk.com/

I'd never use it though.

Acutally, when I'm playing a show there's no such thing for me as fiddling with pedals unless there's something wrong with them. I set 'em then play.

I actually almost never use pedals live anyways so I guess I'm not in a good position to discuss this... so long!

We call that "audience participation."

That's weird because I always thought punk was about rebellion and rebellion didn't have rules. WEIRD.

Anyway I was just daydreaming a humorous event.

Re: Wull this is smart:

As I stated in the other post about these Flex Pedals things, it doesn't seem to offer much in the way of a pedal with more than 2 knobs. I can think of 10 insanely popular pedals that have more than 2 knos. It's a great idea on paper, but in practice, it needs tweaking.
