They're supposed to be "hand picked" guitars and are therefore above average quality.
I just traded my SG standard + an Ibanez + cash for this 90s Yamano LP Standard
It's got a unique light brown finish, slim headstock like the older Gibsons, and an OHSC similar to the custom shop ones (broken handle though). Neck is more of a 59 profile, not quite fat but also clearly not a 60s neck.
Pickups were replaced by the previous owner to a set of Duncan JB + 59.
Still undecided which pickups I'll drop in but most likely a set of BL L-500s in black. I'll also switch back to normal stringing from the current wrap around.
Will clean it up once I've decided on the pickups (also thinking about the low output option of the PGb and Jazz in zebra)
