Can't argue with you there. Congrats. I'ma need me an Echoplex, but will probably just get a Fulltone. BTW, do you have an old Fender Reverb unit?

Despite the Fulltone TTE being a sonic replica of a tube Echoplex it doesn't sound like an EP-3 or even a rel Tube Echoplex. I did A/B testing between my EP-3, a late 60's EP-2 and a TTE a few years ago and they are in the same ballpark but not at all the same.
I won't say one was better or worse than either of the other 2 but I will say that there is no way in hell I'd buy a TTE based on what I know about the way they sound and FWIW, the market is SOFT on Echoplex units right now so it's a good time to get one...the cost of a unit and a once over from a good Plex tech is still less than the cost of a used TTE.
Just know going in that an Echoplex requires a LOT of up keep, they are very needy machines for sure but IMHO they are worth it!
Fender reverb tank...had an original years ago and sold it, also had 2 of the old Premiers as well but sold those too...I don't use reverb much at all truth be told but I am sort of in the market for a good tank to add to the stable of tricks!
