Yeah, baby! Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

To be honest, I'd like it better without the Lawrence, and with an ebony board, but that's nit-picking. I absolutely love that body!

So, was that a standard item, or a custom order? Was the body pre-routed for that config, and was the neck pocket pre-drilled? I have got to get one of those in my next life, which is when I'll be able to afford it.

The body being a carved top is a special order with a little more cost and I asked for the special pickup routs. I sometimes enjoy mixing Alnico with Ceramic magnets in both speaker combos and also pickups. Where the P90s are angry and obnoxious, adding the Bill Lawrence pickup blends some edge and articulation to the notes. If you haven't combined pickup types, give it a try. When you order from Warmoth, typically there is no extra cost for the pickup routs.
