YES!! My proud accomplishment today!

It was Sunday and I wanted to record an ambient guitar piece. I managed to get one done, start to finish. There really are only four instruments: two guitars, and two synths. Some of you may recognize the washes as a guitar, but I'll give it away and tell you it's a guitar through a Scholtz Sustainor preamp on a clean setting and then into a Digitech Studio 5000 effects unit with the Synth pad swell effect. This is a really cool effect for guitar. It was also found on the Space Station pedal. The only guitar used, for both parts, was my Hamer Artist Korina with Duncan 59's.

I am really glad to have gotten this recorded and mixed in one day. I'm hoping to do more music in this vein this year.

So those first sounds—the swells—are the guitar through the Sustainor?
