Can you have too many ?

Is it possible to make hybrids of pickups from different pickup manufacturers that is cross a duncan with a fralin or dimarzio for example? If not, what are some of the problems you might encounter?

Have to be careful with phasing/polarity but sure you could.

Geez is that it? Where is Bach to Rock or some of the other hybridizers?

Some of the bobbins may not match up... PRS uses a taller humbucker bobbin than Duncan.
Why comprimise your tone and mess with anything but Duncan?
