yet another pickup recommendation thread

well seeing as how my new slash sig neck pickup is jacked and have to send it back to arizona from a very good online site, i got to wondering if the slash set is what i'm actually needing/going for in a pickup set. i have a 07 slash signature epi thru a mi audio crunch box and out to a peavey deuce from 1981. other than the obvious slash influence, i also play alot of bad company, zz top, gary moore, ufo, etc. should i be looking at a set of pearly gates instead or am i going to get a bit of all of those in the slash sig set?

If the epi slash model already has a regular A2P set in it, there is no need for the "slash" set. sounds to me like its time for a new amp. from the bands you've listed, I think you would do well with a Marshall or other "british" voiced amp.
