After the first li'l practice session with it it is my careful, considered opinion that even with limited tweaking and experience with this unit that it must be clearly sated that

Re: Yet another Verbzilla thread

Hey, glad it got there at last! :fing2:

It's excellent, isn't it? I had band practice last night and had my Verbzilla in the FX loop of my Tech 21 TM60, using the Hall setting. It sounds fantastic! Being in the honeymoon period, I'm probably overusing it currently, but I'm amazed at how good it sounds, even on a dirty sound where in the past I've found some reverbs (even built-in springs) just mush the tone to bits. This pedal really adds another dimension to my tone!

Mmmm, nice! :)

Re: Yet another Verbzilla thread

Re: Yet another Verbzilla thread

I see this becoming the first "forum approved" pedal.
Usually by this time some naysayer is complaining that it mushes tone and xxxx's is better.

Re: Yet another Verbzilla thread

All this praise has gotten me interested in this pedal.

But, I still have to ask myself, "Do I really need a reverb pedal?"

Eh, it might be nice on my KRANK. In the meantime I'm workin on building about 6 new pedals from BYOC PCBs.

You need reverb if your amp does not have reverb and if you miss not having it. Lew

I always like reverb when playing clean chording things, but I also like the extra dimension of sound if gives..

Re: Yet another Verbzilla thread

Here comes a threadkill: I challenge verbzilla's spring to a cutting contest with the GRAIL! Anyone put these head to head? I know Zilla is more flexible...but the GRAIL is RIGHTEOUS!!!!!!

Re: Yet another Verbzilla thread

But the name is not as :cool3: as "Verbzilla."

Game over.:D

Thread revived!

My problem over the years with some of the EH stuff,is that they tend to be noisy....Is your pedal noisy?

Re: Yet another Verbzilla thread

I don't think so....but that could just be my ears not working!
