I like the simple, sleek look you seem to be after. Howsabout a maple neck? With a white guitar that looks really sweet! And dump the pearloid, just go simple white -- much classier IMO.

I think the 3 or 4 look the best. I kind of like the contrast of a white guitar with dark pickguard, the whole tied together by the silvery vibrato + the intrusion of the arm in the dark part.

But as Nepalt21 said, I'll go for a H-S-S.

why not just put a warmoth neck on the G&L and sell the G&L neck to offset the cost a bit?

I went with #1 and the pearloid guard will look better in person. I have a fades Sonic Blue Vintage Player Strat with an aged white guard (plain) and it looks killer. Great player too and great tones with the Texas Specials and it's now my #1 axe; over my RIC 360-12 and 89 Les Paul Standard.

i piked six. I prefer any three single coil over two buckers. That makes it more a true strat.

You know 6 is the HH setup ...
