Your 2 cents please: travel acoustic guitars

The only real compact one I've come across on the net is the Martin Backpacker: decent price and very portable (i.e., carry-on to a plane). As expected, sound is not terrific on this one (based on HC reviews), but does the job and stays in tune, and practicality is its main asset, not tone. Any thoughts on this or any other?

i bought a parlor guitar a few years ago for travel purposes (cost me 100 bucks, sounded and played decently). it broke though (semi my fault), and now i use my first acoustic (my yamaha). it fits easily in a plane overhead, and its a real and good guitar

Check out the baby Taylors. I think they have a fuller sound vs tha backpacker.
