Favorites: Transparent Wine Red, Honey Burst, plain Black, Tobacco Burst, Copper (like the discontinued Les Paul Classic finish)

Least Favorites: any bright colour, any metal flake finish, Fenders 3-tone sunburst (I like the 2-tone, but don't like the red in the 3-tone), pretty much all solid colours except black or white.

Hamer's '59 Burst, Hamer's Goldtop, Hamer's Brown Sugar, Dean's Tiger Eye Quilt, Clear over Tasty Flametop.

Almost every opaque color,(hides the great woodgrain), large speckled Glitter colors other than Red, Bowling Ball anyswirl, Silver, Trans Green over Mahogany.

In no order:

Bursts (on LP's, SG's, Explorers, V's, and super strats)
Gold top
Vintage white (Strat, LP, V, SG, Explorer)
Cherry (on mahogany, Explorers and LP's and V's)
Graphics (EVH stripes, shattered glass, tiger stripes: http://image.www.rakuten.co.jp/soundwave/img10282310965.jpeg, and some others. Mainly on super strats, but Wylde is ok too.)
And Black or CAR. CAR works great on strats with rw board, and black is great color for LP's or V's or SG's or Strats or Semi-acoustics. It's kinda official, you can take a black LP custom to funeral gig, black strat for Clapton-tribute, black SG, V, or explorer, or any of those already mentioned to a metal gig, and it will fit. Although black feels very much overused, it fits every single occasion (ok, hippie parties are not included).
Can you imagine yoursef doing a gig at somebodys funerals with a Jackson which has skull & bones graphics. Or shattered glass.

Then the bad (again in no order)

Pink
green bursts
latte burst
graphics (all except maybe an old version of Japanese flag, the kamikaze-one, EVH stripes, tiger, and shattered glass)
surf green

Wine red Les Pauls.

White Stratocasters.

White Explorers.

Metallic yellow or intense yellow see-through on Superstrats.

The original Korina Explorer and V, though gold hardware looks awful on stage.

Certain greenbursts look good, but only on quilted maple. Might do a Tele like that.

Sometimes blueburst looks good but then often has too much furniture guitar feeling.

Hate:
- black guitars
- normal sunbursts, in particular cherry and anything with a wide black outside, three-tone and like
- over the top AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+gazillion maple decks

-Purple anything (I can't see the color so I'm biased)

-Three-Tone Sunbursts (barring the Topaz Gem Les Pauls, those look nice)
-Reds darker than Fiesta Red on anything except a Gibson Guitar

I can't stand any burst with brown as the outside color, specifically Tobacco Sunburst. :earl: I also dislike Strat 3 tone burst, but like 2 tone. Go figure. Also Gecko Burst is gross. Anything else is good for me.

Hahaha. Yeah, but yours has the right touches done to it. In natural form, I think it looks awful. But yours with the black hardware? Pretty **** good looking. I like silver guitars (used to have a McCarty in Platinum), but I just don't like everything to be the same color.

I like the "Whiskey Cola" finish that First Act has on their Delia. It's a transparent burst on a flame maple top.

I hate spalted maple for some reason.
