And at 40 watts, I still dont drive the amp... 80 watts would be overkill... Not to mention that I put tubes with MORE headroom, so the disto in my amps is useless.... These amps take pedals so well, that I rather enjoy the tones I am getting from the front of amp.....
But, to each his own.....
I didnt care for the tones coming out of the 410's... Plus one of the main reasons I wanted the Deluxe is its weight and size... With 2 gigs per week and 2 practices per week, that is 8 moves to/from the trailer to the stage...drew_half_empty said:

The bluesbreaker obviously got my vote... i love the marshall sound, especially the old non-master sound. So the bluesbreaker does the thing for me...also a little more practical than a full stack marshall. Since i mostly only play at home for the moment.

I voted Other. I really don't like channel switching amps all that much. IMO most channel switching amps don't do both sounds well. So I prefer to use two amps. One that gives me a killer clean sound (I have a '67 Deluxe reverb and a '68 Super Reverb) and one that gives me a real good Drive sound (currently I am using a Marshall 900 50W combo). The Super@ 40 Watts is a pretty good all around amp. It accepts pedals well and has enough volume to play in most situations. The Marshall is good also, but it lacks a clean sound compared to the Fender. For smaller situations the Deluxe is my Amp of Choice. 22 watts can be sooooo loud!!

I am going to go the Orange AD-30TC because I love the Vox sound but need more versatility and the Orange sounds awesome (I have only heard soundclips though but i am going to try one out in a couple of weeks). Vox AC-30's are one of the best sound amps especially when turned up but the EQ isn't that helpful. It also has to be up really loud to get any overdrive and it is is slight but beutiful (Hopefully the fact that the AD-30TC has a gain and master controls I can get a nice but not quite as good overdrive sound only time will tell)

I'm a Fender Hotrod man -- the overdrive is awful but that killer bell-tone clean more than makes up for it so I get my overdrive with a stompbox.
To really bring out the best clean tone in this amp, use Sovtek 6L6GC (Winged C logo) for power, and 12AT7's for V1 and V2.
