i've tried the hs-3, area 67, vintage solo, and the tone zone. They all sounded good but the VS just didn't have enough output for my tastes and was replaced by the TZ. The VS might have enough output to balance with a bridge humbucker.

Sorry to revive old thread... I'm playing in a loud rock band, have True Velvets in the neck and middle - love the tone but get squealing around large PAs. I need potted pickups - suggestions?
