Your favorite strat color/config?

Whats your favorite strat color and color pickguard/pickups?

I like Inca silver and surf green the best, both with white pearloid pickguards.

I also dig some customs like sparkle finishes (**** Dale) and this custom surfboard look too.

pewter, black guard and chrome pickups like one of my strats is high on my "fovorite" list, thus why i built it lol. i also love the candy tangerine and i think i'd kill for a body off a d!ck dale signature strat...such a killer color! i also like inca silver and graffiti yellow. man i think i like all strats lol.

I like some of the nice wood finishes on the Super-Strats...

Otherwise, candy apple red is one of my preferred colors

1.inca silver with the parchment guard ( like my robert cray)
2.graffitti yellow with a pearloid guard
3.montego black with a gold guard ( and maple fretboard)
4.candy tangerine with pearl guard and maple board

I love the look of white pickups on a black or torty scratchplate. Black, or natural. Although a good spangly, sparkly finish looks great too!

I gotta go with the classic 50s two-tone sunburst and maple neck. Maybe not the most exciting, but just a perfect combination.

Olympic white, white pickguard, maple neck. Simple but nice.

Of course, there's a whole lot of superstrats that look cool, especially jacksons. But that's my more traditional strat option.

Olympic whitish cream, with a 3ply white guard, rosewood.
Black body, white guard

+1 Definitely my favorite Strat color, although I like rosewood fretboards also. (Which happens to be the color of my Strat

I also like basic black, Vintage white, red, and since becoming a member of this fourm, I've come to like "Curly Blue", and xxsive's pewter or charcoal gray.

Two tone sunburst, white pickguard and maple neck. It is just classy.

Gunmetal blue, pearloid guard, birdseye maple neck . Oh and the cliplock strap is long gone.

I love my Sapphire Blue H1 Alder body with a white pearl guard and a maple neck..My other favorite is a natural ash body with lots of grain with a maple neck..

I saw a band in a bar a couple months ago where the guitar player had an amber dyed strat with a green tortoise pickguard. Neck was rosewood on maple. It had chrome hardware, black knobs, and a set of black covered Duncan QPs. It was pretty sweet. I've been thinking about doing something similar through Warmoth only in trans white rather than amber.

....where did that surf custom come from? lol ive never seen one like it...and i love it...

Made by a local guy named Stew. He's on the FDP a lot and has made several surf themed gutiars he calls "Stewmade".

I really really like vintage 3 tone sunburst w/ a rw board and ocean turquoise/LPB with a maple board. And I prefer the standard strat config.

My alltime fave strat colour is shoreline gold, with white guard and rosewood board.

Also a big fan of two and three tone sunbursts, seafoam green and pink paisley.
