Your main playing machines..pictures

Re: Your main playing machines..pictures

If you go to my gear in my signature, the guitars that get used the most
are the Goldtop, Honeyflame Prem +, reverse metallic blueburst strat,
and teal black McCarty. Plus the D-28. I find time to play all the stuff,
but some grow on me more. This week I'm learning my way around the
new G&L Asat Z-3. I truly believe that model was Leo's gift to Tele players.
For the first time ever, you'll hear me say that no Duncan would be an improvement over the hum cancelling single coil G&L Z pickups. :32:

My two well used guitars...they see some action and if they had been expensive guitars I would probally treat them slightly different :laugh2: :burnout:
Now let me see a few of your guitars :)

Hey Rid, just wondering what pickups are you using in your Wolfgang? Thanks.

Re: Your main playing machines..pictures

The 1st one is my '92 American Floyd Rose classic Strat with a Jazz Neck and JB bridge.

The 2nd one is my '95 MIM Strat, with a JB in the bridge, and Sperzel tuners.

I like red ones. ;)

Although I have 5 guitars, the Tele-Gib is the one I always grab :) ...and lately, take to the dance.

The JB/Jazz combo and sweet Jimmy Vaughan neck make this my fave.

Jeff,

Is the second one the US Highway that you just got? I take it the last one is the Yamaha fat strat as well? Both nice but that Hardtail sure looks nice and pretty!!

Norman...yup, that's the Highway 1. I've been really happy with it so far. I hope things can be resolved with yours...let me know. I'm sure you'll love it as well. The last one is the Yamaha...it now has the neck off awaiting an inlay change at some point from our friend JohnJohn. Here's a closer pic of the Hardtail, when I was trying creme pickups. It plays even nicer than it looks! It's definately my baby.

Jeff,

That's better (I mean the picture) of the Hardtail rather than the squashed up one in your avatar, nice to see some more of it. I went and had another look (for a few minutes) at 2 Hardtails today - that faded denim one does look nice, I particularly like the transculent look on the body. I hope that I can sort something out on that strat (best if we kept it anything about it via PMs, until its sorted). I must confess that I did not know that JohnJohn also did inlay changes, love to see some of his work. Have you got those rings sorted out by the way.
