Hmmm...

My Roland GS-6 rack unit. A couple of nice sounds, but I don't actually have any use for it. Everything it could do the POD going into my Lexicon can do so much better - and those two can do so much more.

DOD Phaser pedal. Just doesn't sound very good.

Re: Your most useless gear purchase

I really really wanted a Jackson Kelly back in my early/mid teens.

And so I got a Performer PS6T (Taiwan made?) that had a good discount price on holiday in the States. Damn thing can't intonate ... had the wrong neck attached ... so on so forth ...

Re: Your most useless gear purchase

ALmost half the guitars I've owned were worthless purchases, so I'll list a couple:
Peavey Raptor Plus EXP <possibly the worst electric guitar I've ever owned
ESP H-50 <this guitar was basicly worthless to me until I installed 2 Invaders and Locking Tuners
ESP EC-100QM <I bought this guitar because I thought I could make it like a Les Paul.... I don't even like quilted maple :smack:
well.... theres plenty more, but that's enough.
Rock On :smoker:

+1. Absolute garbage. Fun to mess around with, but few patches are actually useable and even those lack in the T-O-N-E compartment.

I personally like Digitech equipment, but my main rig uses the most archaic processor of the bunch (GSP-5). I don't think the RP-1 is garbage, I just never found a really good use for it. Digitech never really seemed to improve much on the original distortions and echoes.

Re: Your most useless gear purchase

I have some bass amp I bought for 25$ that I thought would be handy. So far it's been handy in the way that having a small ceramic clown figurine is handy. I have done nothing with it. I can't even tell what it is, there's no brand name attatched to it, and I can understand why, as it sounds like someone farting when you play through it. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll find some poor bloke to buy it for 50$ if I put it in the paper or something.

Re: Your most useless gear purchase

the Danelectro Dirty 30. Yuck. But i sold it on Ebay for more than I paid. I would have liked to have had that Digitech Space Station that was thrown away above. Those make wild sounds.

Never tried the Boss Loop Station, since I have a Line6 DL4 and a Digital Echoplex for loops- both of those have to be the *best* purchases I have ever made.
