You're the Devil, you're just out to scare..

Here's something different.

Me with a backing track. From Live After Death.

This is my new Destroyer (super distortion in bridge) through a Vox DA5 practice amp. 2203 model. With my Ipod plugged in to provide the backing track. So the tone is not as warm/good as it is on AD15VT, but there is no CD in on the AD15VT unfortunately. Just threw my laptop in front of the amp.

The way it works with the ipod/Da5 is that (good for me, fortunately) you only hear Dave's rhythm track through the song, but when Adrian' solo comes up on whatever song, it's full volume. So thats why you can hear him loud and clear then.

I don't know Adrian's solo note for note, but I think I got the gist of it

Thanks bro. Yeah, its about the only way I have to record really...And yes they ARE cheering me on. That was me at Hammersmith in 1984 ;)

Had to go back and listen: That's "Total Eclipse" b-side off Run to the hills

Thanks bro :) I actually had the "gawd, I hope I'm not making too many frakkin mistakes" face on :laugh2: One thing you can hear is when it slows down, right before the harmony part, and I switch to the neck pup...and yup..no volume... I had knocked it off...so then I turn it up. Thats the thing I HATE about the Destroyer control layout.

on the intro you're a touch out of synch, but the rest is pretty sweet. i need to start recording again

Re: You're the Devil, you're just out to scare..

Thanks fellas.

Yup..a bit behind at the beginning..the perils of trying to hit play on the Ipod, record on the compy, and then start playinig the song.. :yell:

I've got another one I may post later....

Thank You kindly! :)

That little DA5 records nicely. The AD15VT sounds better...warmer and more round...more tube-like obviously, but the DA5 is a neat little amp fo sho! :bigthumb:
