Zakk wylde les paul

Re: Zakk wylde les paul

No, because as far as I can remember Gibson never made a Les Paul with bullseye finish, Epiphone did.
There were both Gibson and Epiphone versions of the Zakk Wylde signature. The former were rather rare as they were only made in Gibson's "Custom Shop".

Although I agree with the above, I just want to point out they are made in the custom shop because they are 'Les Paul Customs' with some, ugh 'custom' appointments (paint job, unfinished neck, EMG's)

That sort of thing is exactly why I put custom shop in quotes.

For the most part Gibson won't do custom orders. I remember wanting to order a Historic SG Standard in Pelham Blue in the early 2000s, and they wanted to up charge me $750 just to paint an off the shelf guitar a different color. It's doubly irritating because Historic Firebirds were available in that color and because SGs were also available in Pelham Blue BITD.

And maple necks FWIW...

Re: Zakk wylde les paul

Crooked tuners, stamped serial number with made in USA on a custom shop? I bet it comes with a standard brown g-style case too. Walk away, quickly!
(You could ask if you can inspect the insides of the control cavities to confirm as chibsons look as if they were routed with an axe).

Re: Zakk wylde les paul

It also couldn't be legit with that serial number anyway. That's a 1996 number and the ZW Bullseye model didn't come out until 1999
