well i think i should give them a try.i know i´ll have to try a set first before i get to it...but the most important thing about the whole thread was the tone, so if i´m going to improve my tone with these...there's no problem...

...so another thing...if i just put one 11-70 set on the explorer (for dropped B tunning), do i have to put at least the standard zakk wylde sig on the ibanez, right?

Man, 4-6 on both sets have to be murder on the neck...

And, FWIW, anyone with Sperzels will have a tough time with the ZW strings, because the largest gauge that you can get into a Sperzel is .54. I speak from experience.

The "standard" set actually works for B tuning. The 11-70 set if fun, too, but the 70 may not fit through your tuner. The nut slots will need widened, too.

well....i´m going to buy new tune machines for the guitar....so, do you know of any set that could fit that strings without widening the tuners?
