Zebra pickups, which way round are the colours?

One of those little things that don't really matter too much, but you want to get the right way round...

Which way round are the colours in a zebra pickup? I am wanting to have the guitar with the creme coils on the outer sides (so next to the bridge on the bridge pickup, next to the neck on the neck pickup) and am using a Duncan Custom in the bridge, and a Stag mag in the neck

so what do I ask for to get these two pickups? The stag mag is listed as a bridge pickup, so would I want it in reverse zebra to fit in the neck position?

I think it tells you in the description on the mainsite, I am not sure if *all* the pickups come in zebra, as you get some like the seth lover that comes only in nickel covers

someone please correct me if i am wrong

Not all pickups are available in zebra. The Dimebucker is another example.

+1... most duncan humbuckers are available w/ zebra or Reverse Zebra Bobbins, but some like the SH-13, PATB series and Iommi are available in any color you want, as long as it´s black ;)

Regardless of color, the screw poles go to the outside (closest to the bridge & neck), and the magnet poles are inside.

If this is the case, then people always seem to have it backwards.

This is what all manufacturers I know of use as a "scheme" for zebra and Reverse zebra as well... I´ve never ordered a Zebra neck and gotten a Black screw coil, nor a reverse zebra Bridge and gotten a white screw coil.... interesting comment....
