Sweet LP. If you want two of the same kind, zebras hands down. I would put one of each (zebra bridge, black neck) but that's just me!

I seem to be the only person to vote double blacks so far. I really like the double black look in a Les Paul. Others' mileage may vary. :bad:

Zebra - looks cooler, sounds just the same as Black. But looks way cooler.
Though I go with austin on the mix - have that in my Sheraton with 59's.
Lordy but I love the way it sounds. Wouldn't care if they were grey or rainbow.....

My Les Paul pickup color rule of thumb:

No pickguard (especially bursts) = zebra or double creme
With pickguard = nickel or double black

There are some exceptions to this rule.. but it's generally what I go by.

I have recently gotten board with the double black look myself... that guitar would look great with a double cream! I recently found (by accident) that I REALLY like double white on my all black explorer... sorry to hijack!

I had a double cream in the bridge for a while...I didn't care for the look of it so a double cream never made it to the neck position. (on the left)

Cool man! I like those pauls! I really like watching them on other people, and looking at them, but they don't fit me for some reason playing wise... I wish they did as they are imho one of the if not THE sexiest guitars.

Double black is boring, no matter what guitar it goes in. Zebra rules, even over double cream to me.
