ZERB - Jackson USA Question

Guitarist

Mesa-ologist
...or anyone else with strong Jackson/Charvel knowledge...

I found out that the Dragon on white finish dissapeared sometime ago. Early 90's? Anyway, how can I get my hands on one? Besides eBay. Would I have to go to Custom Shop? If so, how much would that set me back if that were to be the only thing customized? Is there any place online selling one that you know of, preferably a Soloist or Rhoads model?

Thanks.

Re: ZERB - Jackson USA Question

I've seen musiciansfriend has the dragon, but it might be on silver.

Re: ZERB - Jackson USA Question

I saw the usa soloists in Musicians friends catalog with the dragon on white/silver. Check it out. it runs like $1800

Re: ZERB - Jackson USA Question

There was a white/black on on Ebay a few months ago, that didn't sell. And the guy was only wanting $400-$500. You might want to try www.jcfonline.com , but you have to have a 100 post before you can post a WTB/WTS/WTT add in the classifieds.

Re: ZERB - Jackson USA Question

WHICH Dragon on white?? The multicolored one with the flame-fretboard?? Or the Black (on silver)? Or one of the older Custom Paintjoby (about another 5 to choose from)???

Any discontinued USA Finish is still available through the Custom Shop or as a "Dealer Limited Run".

BTW: My peers at the JCF and I recommend that you steer away from Ed Roman, but that´s all I´ll say to that. Others of course have no qualms with him, YMMV.

And eBay of course is always a solution, just gotta wait for one to pop up ;)

I think Kevin Easton still has a silver-black King V, but I´m not sure. www.eastonguitars.com :headbang:

+ 1, all stories have lead for me to concur with Zerb, although I have never dealt with the guy personally.
