That doesn't look too bad, I've seen a lot worse. It could be a great deal for someone who has some refinishing skills.

Looking at it more, you just need hardware and to oil the neck, and you'd have a beat up RR-1 for fairly cheap, if it stays under 600 or so.

Was likely stripped, as oiled necks are not a standard feature on RR-1s

DSS, I´d LOVE to save it, and wouldn´t wait a second if I had the cash...This is one of my favorite RR finishes period.... But alas, I don´t have the funds

But if someone wants to grab it for me and hang on to her for a month or two, we can work something out

We'll see what what the price is in 5 days if it's still a good investment I might be owning a RR1 ... I doubt it but we'll see ... I'd like to get a better look of the neck first (plus set up a paypall and ebay account)


EDIT: Ok so some f***ing 'tard doesn't know how an auction works and placed a bid that was $150 over the previous bid ... with 6 days left on the auction :smack:

It still could be a good deal 6 days from now, but I can't afford it at $200 ...

For the kind of money that the body will sell off for, you can get something custom built.
Plus, the body is BEAT TO HELL, and has suffered serious blunt-force trauma ...

Probably the same type of person I saw in my local music store one day. 14-ish-year old girl, and her mother's buying her a Jackson Blue Ghost Flames Soloist. She's never played before, and she's wearing a big metal belt-buckle..... oh, the inhumanity!!

I told the salesman, "when that guitar comes back used, give me a call - I'll buy it off you cheap 'cause it'll be beat to hell."
