zoom g5 power amp?

i'm looking to get one of those zoom amp modelers. do i need a power for that? or can i just plug it into the cab?

and the power amp would probably be the fx return on my peavey xxl head. if i do what channel do i use and what should my settings be?

1. Yes (Do I need a power amp?)
2. You can use whatever channel you want on the Peavy. There is no signal going from the pre to power amp.

When using a modeled amp you just need a clean power amp

I have run mine into the efx return on a bass amp
