ZSS Electronics - Silent Rocker (5 Watt, 2 channel, tube head)

Re: ZSS Electronics - Silent Rocker (5 Watt, 2 channel, tube head)

Just posting the info for anyone interested. I can't buy any more amps for awhile. Bought three in the last three months. One for my son, two for me. Might be something I would consider in the future though. Demos sounded good and it is the right size/watts for my taste. Those adapters are available from lots of places for very low cost. Good luck with sales.

thanks)

Do you have any plans to build a more powerful amp? Something in the 30 watt range with a footswitchable lead channel?

yes, we already did custom amps with this options, and serial models will be in future. not tomorrow, of course))) but without a doubt they will appear

Awesome! I will keep my eyes open because I like this little amp you have here but I already have a good low-wattage tube amp. I may need something with more power in the future so I can't wait to see what you have coming up later on! Keep up the good work!

Great tone by the way, I watched both of the youtube videos. I am very impressed. You have a great price as well. Since you have the European style plug it should do well here. If you could make them with the USA plug or ship them with an adapter then I imagine you would sell a few amps there too.

This is what is needed for the U.S.

thanks for information.
we can include adaptor - it will be ok.
just describe what plug you need in order form and we can include it

Re: ZSS Electronics - Silent Rocker (5 Watt, 2 channel, tube head)

What you might want to consider is a 110v/220v switch on the back, and a socket that takes the cable rather than hardwiring. Might be a little more to produce but better in the long run for making it a universal seller.

Switch 110/220 - there is no need in it actually.

You can use any voltage from 90 to 240 in ZSS products. and you do not need a switch for this. just plug and play)))

What do you think? will adaptors be enough at start?
By the way, if there will be several orders, we will make a special cable for U.S. electricity network. We just started))) a month ago)))

In the long run this would be the best way to go. I know you do not need a switch (which is awesome by the way, I wish all amps came like this), but yeah, making the amps with this socket makes it easy for international buyers.

As long as the adapters you are shipping make the proper grounding/earth connection they should work fine at first.

+1 to all that. Easiest solution, then depending on shipping address, throw in proper cable since voltage already is a non-issue it would be inexpensive to have both different type cables on hand to ship the proper one along with amp.

Well, eventually anyway. For now the adapters are easiest. A couple dollars for an adapter.

ok, let's add an adaptor for the first time and promotion low price offer time.
Later, we will attach normal cable, special for country, where the order will come from.

Please, take into account, that it's the only one one in the world for today,
2 channel valve amp with a lot of additional options:
- send/return,
- power amp off switch,
- international voltage 90-240 volts,
- three channel EQ,
- bright and focus switches,
- headphones output,
- line output,
- 8 and 16 ohm outputs for cabinets,
- 100% valve sound and schematics.
- Good tube sounding at all and also has possibility to use it with bass guitar for recording.

At such really reasonable price.

While iam intrigued and interested its missing a few things that would be good to have... First I dont see a pilot light to let us know its on, this is a nice feature so i dont have to feel the switches with my hand on a dark stage or check with my guitar volume. Even in your bedroom its nice that you dont accidentally forget and leave the amp idling over the weekend.

2nd and for me its huge is there is no jack for a footswitch, not so cool to have to reach over and change channels with your hand.

The labeling is a bit awkward too, using "anode" instead of the more common "standby" might create some confusion, also why call it "silent rocker" its an amplifier its not suppose to be silent? If someone says "silent rocker" to me i dont think amplifier i think a direct recording device or maybe a headphone amp.

just some thoughts

thanks for your thoughts.

Pilot light - it's a good idea, we will think of it in future models.
In this model, wen it's on, you see the light of tubes, so it should be convenient at all)

Anode/standby - also not bad idea, we'll take it into account.

Footswitch - is possible as a custom option, just mark it as an option and we will add it. it will cost few additional coins, but not much really)

about name your thoughts are right 100%: Silent rocker - is a guitar amp for live playing at home or studio, it is a silent guitar tube amp (5 watts), it has headphones output, and can be used for silent recording without cabinet and microphones, it has direct from preamp output with switching off a power amp, and it has a line output also.

In practice - if use it for silent recording without cabinet and microphone or amp loader, best results are reached when signal is taken from preamp to impulses in software. And better results with an amp loader (like Torpedo Live for example, or any else)

- - -
What is also good in our products, that you can order almost any custom option, that you need. We can make it come true)

By the way , also 110/220 version is available (with switch of voltage)

Nice to see that options will be available and that you listen to feedback too. I think you guys will have some success with your product given that you will accomodate some different requests. I really hope you guys have success anyway and keep that attitude of accomodating.

:)

Re: ZSS Electronics - Silent Rocker (5 Watt, 2 channel, tube head)

:15: Unfortunately, our suppliers changed prices for components of amps,
and we also have to change price.
The Best available price is 299 usd for today.

But it is still very cheap for a tube amp with such options and sound quality.
And we still provide free shipping worldwide.:arms:
We do our best to keep prices as low as possible.

Regards,
ZSS Electronics team.
