          Re: which fuzz pedal

I got frustrated last week (with my big muff) and ordered a Huckleberry and Screwdriver. Both should be here next week. I'll post up how they work out...

+1. I played the Big Muff and the 69 in quick succession and was blown away by the latter. I was literally shocked by how good it sounded! I looked at the price tag and all was explained to me. But I think it's much better than what it's priced at.

Where did you find a Screwdriver in stock, Tonefactor?

I know the Screwdriver and Zero are in completely different categories (OD + little fuzz vs. agressive muff) but man this thing is awesome! I need to get a Screwdriver and maybe a Pink Flesh to round it out. Skreddy rocks!

My vote goes for Analogman's latest germanium fuzz. It's called the Peppermint Fuzz. I would also suggest the Frantone Peach Fuzz.

I'm not really a fan of fuzz, but the Tweak Fuzz is a good pedal.

Yep. Brad got in 4 of all the skreddy pedals last week. I emailed him in time and got in on it. Looks like he still has top fuel and ?ladys in stock: http://www.tonefactor.com/products.php?cat=139

+1 on the Analogman NKT275: its a one-trick-pony, but the sweetest fuzz i've ever heard.

Matt Bellamy is fairly famous for using the ZVex Fuzz Factory, and Radiohead has used everything from a Fuzz Face to a Big Muff to a Shin Ei vintage fuzz. The cool thing about the Fuzz Factory is you can dial in everything from near FF type sounds through the gated Japanese style all the way to the whacked out noises the Fuss Factory is famous for.
