    I would check out the RP1000, you can set it so the 5 bottom buttons call up presets, and the top 5 buttons are like stompboxes to turn individual effects on and off. That was worth the extra $ over the 500 to me.

                        Well I scored an ME-20. It fits the bill perfectly in terms of what it offers. Very, very simple and it sounds real good. I've never been a pedalhead and I am definitely not a tweaker so we'll see how it goes. Sounds fine on the test runs so far.
