Not surprising. There are many tales of those old Peavey's surviving ridiculous situations and still working.

        Wow.

There are so many obvious songs you should've played through that thing straight away.

Mine was a Pevey 20 watt SS one channel, don't remember the name of it though.

A friend of mine had a Marbrolo, like the cigerette, G-20 SS. He gave the Amp to me as a birthday present, so I would play again. I'll find a picture and post it.

            Peavey TKO 75, 1x15 combo.

I bought it because it had the biggest speaker in the pawn shop, so I figured that must make it better. It was years before I learned it was actually a bass amp.

My first tube amp was this:

He does not receive near the amount of attention he deserves.

I played through my Dad's 1975 silverface SuperReverb for awhile, but I did not like that amp.

Not a bad idea.. tho the speakers are a little small, and cheap sounding.. an upgrade certainly wouldn't hurt.. they sound great with the volume around 6-8.. then they start to fart..

An Epiphone 25w solidstate amp. Decent.

This was my first amp. It was an unreliable POS that sounded horrible.

My first tube amp was one of these.

It sounded much better than the Crate. I'll bet JeffH vaguely remembers seeing it back in the day.

I think mine was a more primitive version of this:

It was some low wattage Crate solid state, but I don't remember there ever being separate clean and gain channels.

Silvertone. Don't remember the model. About late 1961 or 62. Traded the Silvertone guitar that I bought with for the little Gibson I'm playing.

Sears Silvertone suitcase amp with Sears guitar made by DanElectro.

Still have both in excellent condition and they are worth a bunch of money.

Next Guitar was a Fender Mustang and a Fender Deluxe Reverb.

After that it was a Gibson Les Paul and a Marshall BlueBreaker

For high school graduation - my dad bought me a Gretch White Flacon single cut and Wurlitzer stereo guitar tube amplifier and an Echoplex

                                Still have this equipment.
