Re: What was your first amplifier?
Mine was a Pevey 20 watt SS one channel, don't remember the name of it though.
A friend of mine had a Marbrolo, like the cigerette, G-20 SS. He gave the Amp to me as a birthday present, so I would play again. I'll find a picture and post it.Originally posted by Vincent VespaDirtbag is only half full of dirt. There rest of him is full of awesome.

Re: What was your first amplifier?
Peavey TKO 75, 1x15 combo.
I bought it because it had the biggest speaker in the pawn shop, so I figured that must make it better. It was years before I learned it was actually a bass amp.

My first tube amp was this:
He does not receive near the amount of attention he deserves.
I played through my Dad's 1975 silverface SuperReverb for awhile, but I did not like that amp.Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8; 10:13; 10:9-10

I think mine was a more primitive version of this:
It was some low wattage Crate solid state, but I don't remember there ever being separate clean and gain channels.Originally posted by kevlar3000I learned a long time ago that the only thing that mattered regarding tone was what my ears thought.Originally posted by ZerberusBetter is often the enemy of goodOriginally posted by ginormousCovers feed the body, originals feed the soul.

Re: What was your first amplifier?
Sears Silvertone suitcase amp with Sears guitar made by DanElectro.
Still have both in excellent condition and they are worth a bunch of money.

Next Guitar was a Fender Mustang and a Fender Deluxe Reverb.
After that it was a Gibson Les Paul and a Marshall BlueBreaker
For high school graduation - my dad bought me a Gretch White Flacon single cut and Wurlitzer stereo guitar tube amplifier and an Echoplex
Still have this equipment.
Most likely all is worth a lot of moon to some collector.
