I'm looking to get two 2X12 cabinets each loaded with a G12H-30/V30 combo in addition to one of these amps. Where should I get the cabinets from? The only place I know of that I could get something like that would be Avatar Speakers. Anywhere else you guys would suggest?

Everything that he said.
Night Train is a great amp, as long as you like what it does. Play it, and if you really enjoy it, buy it. I won't say it's better than the Rebel 30, but what it does, it definitely does better than the Egnater.Custom neck-thru strat

Re: Night Train or Rebel 30 and who to buy a cab from?
I wasn't too impressed with the Night Train. For cleans I prefer the AC15 to it. So I selected the ROb Option.
IN terms of cabs, you HAVE to go AVATAR. They make quality, solid cabs at a reasonable price. Best deal I've found. However, if I were you I wouldn't get two of the same cabs. Why not experiment?
Have one G12H30 and V30, the other could be Greenbacks and G12H30s, etc.
I mean after all you have these to choose from.....
Celestion: Vintage 30s, G12H30s, G12T75s, Greenbacks, Classic Lead 80s, Hellatone 30s, Hellatone 60s and G12K100s
Eminence Governors, Wizards, Private Jacks, Swamp Thangs
for the price might as well experiment.Originally posted by grumptruckNo I think James and Dave have that covered. You are obviously rocking way to hard.Originally posted by Gear UsedPRS CE 22 (Custom 5 / 59)

Well what combo would you suggest? Because I don't know that much about speakers I've just read everywhere that the V30/G12H30 combo is awesome.Originally posted by TheLivingDeadH-S guitars with floyds make me erect.Originally posted by jcthejester13I'm pretty sure it's like nailing twins. I had a one night stand with the Mini Recto and Mesa 1x12 cab. Totally fell in love. I'd give that combo a try before purchasing the Nite Train or Rebel 30.If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane.

Re: Night Train or Rebel 30 and who to buy a cab from?
I voted Rebel 30 because I have one and I love its versatility.
That said, if you love what the Nighttrain sounds like, get it.
In terms of cabs, I've got 4 x 212s, all Carvins.
The V30/G12H30 *IS* an awesome combo.
I've also got a G12H30/Greenback and a V30/Greenback.
For one-stop shopping its hard to beat Avatar cabs with Hellatone speakers.
I'd already invested in a Carvin Vintage, open-backed 212 with V30's and picked up another one, unloaded and then added 2 of the dark, close-backed, Steve Vai version 212s with Greenbacks/unloaded and picked up Hellatones for that one.
I've tried all of those different versions with the Rebel 30 and they all sound different/good. Currently I'm using the close-backed 212s with V30/Greenbacks.
These seem to sound better to my ears... especially when I get heavier/more distorted.
The only thing I ever recommend for people with lunchbox amp heads is to run them through a 212, almost regardless of what speakers are in it.MM

I figured everyone would want the Night Train over the Rebel 30. I can't wait to go try both of them out!Originally posted by TheLivingDeadH-S guitars with floyds make me erect.Originally posted by jcthejester13I'm pretty sure it's like nailing twins. They are identical but feel totally different.

any reason you want 2 212 cabs? Why not just one and ab the amps? or what about a 212 cab for shows and a112 for home use?Originally posted by grumptruckNo I think James and Dave have that covered. You are obviously rocking way to hard.Originally posted by Gear UsedPRS CE 22 (Custom 5 / 59)

Re: Night Train or Rebel 30 and who to buy a cab from?
I was under the impression I would have to hook them up stereo if I only got one cab. Wouldn't that mean each amp would only get one speaker or am I being foolish?Originally posted by TheLivingDeadH-S guitars with floyds make me erect.Originally posted by jcthejester13I'm pretty sure it's like nailing twins.
