  • Shape Shifter noise

    Hi all,

First time poster here. I have a SD Shape Shifter and when I turn it on there is a slight high pitch noise (around 8k or so). It doesn't pulse with the tremolo but instead it's a constant sound. Even if there is nothing in the input the sound remains. The sound is there with batteries or Pedal Power 2+. Am I just crazy? I really like this pedal but I can't stand this noise. Thanks for any advice!

    Welcome to the forum!

Have you tried calling or emailing Seymour Duncan's customer service? If there is an issue with your tremolo unit they will take care of it. You might also send a private message describing the problem to Frank Falbo.
I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .

Yup, just phone or email customer service Monday and they'll be glad to take care of it.
