Well yeah, I was just wondering what was specifically used by the OP and in your track.

you don't need some kind of impedance matching circuitry? like a DI or something?

No you don't. Just guitar --> interface --> amp sim ---> impulse

PAF what is your take on the EZ Mix?

I'm thinking of getting that or the Waves CLA signature collection

Re: NGD: Lots of Nice Stuff

I'm feelin' a bit down still 'cause of my flu and homework from uni (I'll make a good review when I can, about Revalver too) so I'm not in a writing mood right now

                But

I think the bass/master/bus presets are really good. Amp sims are nice but sound always the same because you can't change the settings. Still, Overloud has done nice work.

Some of the guitar signal chains or more complex signal chains (which have lots of reverbs/delays/filters) are kind of useless. At least for me because I like to choose FX from my DAW or from the software I use. Because: Quality is a lot better and you can shape the FX more to your liking.

All in all I really like it. Have to try to bond with it more though I bought the EZMix 1 and the upgrade (EZMix 2) for it = 85€. The EZMix 2 itself costs 130€. I think I made a quite good deal over there. For 85€ = amazing package. For 130€ = not so.

I would buy a real mastering suite instead of Waves CLA. That costs 200ish and for example Izotope Ozone 5 costs also 200ish. I know, very different program but much better sounding, quality etc. if you are willing to read about some mixing/mastering stuff
