Swollen Pickle is a more versatile big muff on steroids
A Big Muff or Lil Big Muff are great
The Hendrix fuzzes are good if you want to nail only the Hendrix tone, which is a great tone, but the Big Muffs or Swollen Pickle are more like Swiss army knivesComment

I have an old Blue Box Fulltone 70 I really like. Got a Captain Coconut with all 3 of the fuzzcards - Like the Fulltone better at the moment.Comment

Voodoo Lab Superfuzz or DMB Pedals Foxy Pirate....not breaking the bank and extremely versatile and straightforward
To me a fuzz face, big muff pi, etc are kinda more of one trick ponies where the two I listed kinda combine qualities of many different fuzzes especially depending on how you tweak the knobsComment
