Greenbacks are great speakers.

They sound better in a big closed back 4 x 12, IMO, than they do in an open back combo amp, but they still sound very good in an open back combo amp and sound better than most other speakers.

However, I think the G12H30 sounds even better in an open back cab than a Greenback - more bass and a fuller sound.

Im sorting a new 2x12 for my SLO clone and am quite interested in those WGS speakers so I'll be interested to see how they go.

The cab is a closed-back 1936, and the JTM45 puts out more than enough bass. I'm thinking that the G12H30 might be a little too bassy hence the thought that Greenbacks would suit...

Don't take this the wrong way but if you're using G12T-75s with a JTM45 you haven't even really heard that amp yet!

Funnily enough, the feeling that I'm missing out is the main reason for the change!
