I trust opinions on this forum as much as anyone, but I wouldn't ignore the very negative reviews for this product on Home Depot's website.

That said, you never really know if those reporting bad experiences followed the application instructions.
I am so close to retirement that I could play in a band full time. All I have to do is figure out what to use instead of money, improve my playing, learn some songs, and find some other musicians more talented than me who will do exactly as they're told. .

That is water based laminate glue, but again it is probably too old and that is why it did not stick (bad reviews).

You really have to try a counter top or kitchen place that will have fresh stock.

That or just order a quart from MojoTone.

Yeh I read that review also. I was kinda figuring that the guy didn't know how to use it properly (the flashing part). I would order it from mojo's but I kinda what to work on the cab this weekend and the glue wouldn't be here soon enough. I guess it time to go to the yellow pages. Thanks again. Big Kurka

Well I contacted DAP about the production date of the contact cement I asked about. According to DAP this cement was manufactured Sep. 13. I read a few "how to's" about water based contact cement and they said you have to really let it flash alot longer than no water based. It was recomended to let it flash for 30 - 40 minutes. I've tried calling several couter top shops and non had water based CC. So I've decided to try this stuff. It can turn out any worse than my first cab I did, It's been drying for a week now and it still tacky. Wish me luck

hope it all works out well for I will be doing it to an amp cabinet head in a couple of weeks.
