No joke, check out one of the old Laney AOR protube 30 1x12 combos. They're tube but right in your price range used. Closed back, reverb onboard, 2 inputs and eqs that offer boosts with push pull knobs. Ticks all of your boxes except solid state.

I agree with this..I had one of these back in the late 80's early 90's and they are able to do what the OP wants..

And this is probably why I hated that little 30w laney combo. The specs were great (still are) but the 6v6 power section and dark sounding laney guts def are sludgy fuzzy .. being stoned is probably a pre-req for enjoying that sound
