NAD: Ace in the hole! Mesa Stiletto Ace 2x12

It'll probably sound fantastic.

It does sound good together. However, after trying just the Black Shadow, just the V30s and the V30s + the Shadow with this amp, I gotta say the V30s are made for this amp and sound best. This is a bit of a surprise for me as I have replaced a few V30s (on 6L6 amps) over the years and I quite like how the Shadow sounds with the Express 5:50 (6L6 amp).

So up here a Recto 2x12 with V30s is $1011.00 USD new at the big box music store. I scored this used Recto 2x12 with a tear in the grill cloth for $525 USD off the online classifieds.
Did I need it? Probably not. Am I stoked to have it? Absolutely!

I'll also use it with the 5:50 and C30, but the Stiletto Ace looks best sitting on it.

I also discovered tonight how easy it is to remove the Mesa casters, brilliant design.
