      A big thing to consider is also the eq circuits. Passive versus active makes a huge difference, and there are some weird differences as well. Like you'd think the difference between a 3-band and 2-band Stingray would be the addition of a mid knob, but they also shift the corner frequencies of the filters around on the other two knobs.
