Been on a trade binge/purge, and I wound up with a Squier Paranormal offset Tele. I'm mentioning it because the build quality is really something. Stripped then oil/waxed the neck and you'd think it's a much, much more expensive guitar.

Also wound up with an older MIK Ibanez SR500 bass. Previous owner took out the Barts and preamp, installed the EMG Robert Trujillo J set. They look funny in the soapbar routes, but it plays effortlessly and sounds great. I've owned probably a dozen basses in the last few years, and this one is far and away my favorite. Highly recommend trying out Ibanez.

The used market looks like it is flooded with Classic Vibe series basses right now if you want one. I've seen some pretty low prices on Ebay this week. Some good deals on older Vintage Modified series basses as well. I liked those older ones better.
